help needed on this please folks.

i have a match on a water that responds to catmeat but it got banned (don't you hate that when it happens!!!)
i have cubed up my luncheon meat ready for dusting with atomic cloud (catmeat variety) BUT-----
1. do i add the cloud the night before i go and just leave it overnight?
2. or could i just add it now to the meat and leave it a couple of days?
3. how much will the meat 'harden' up for the hook by adding cloud?

what would be the best way to store coated meat (just in case weather is bad)? i have access to a fridge but only with restrictions from swmbo??!!!!

thanks for the replies guys.
PETE- i had thought of using the catmeat hookers but knowing that the water responds to meat and catmeat i thought combine the two
GOTGAZ- how long could it be stored in the fridge as dusted? days or just overnight?

Hi Paul
once you have dusted the meat with Atomic Cloud you can always freeze it.You will find the meat really soakes up the colouring and becomes softer.
You will find that you do not get as much of a cloud from the meat as if you dust it before use.It all depends what sort of effect you want.

I've been using the same meat dusted with strawberry atomic that i got a few weeks ago and it gets better and better. All i've been doing is putting it in a air tight bag and putting it in the freezer, taking it out the night before i go fishing and then back in the freezer it goes unless i'm fishing the next day etc. Works a treat.

I too fish a water which responds to catmeat, it is allowed stll but just to be different to the rest I use Atomic Paste with catmeat cloud, feed is usually dampened 4ml pellets coated with the same cat meat atomic cloud, all done the night before and chucked in the fridge as Gaz says.
Believe me it works, and the catmeat boys have no answer when the fish get on it.
Just something else for you to consider for another time, there are so many options with these baits, it's also handy to have a pot of the soft hookers too, sometimes by setting up a shallow pellet rig as well as the deck paste rig, everything is covered.
Have fun though, i'm sure you'll find the best approach for your water.
cheers

I have used it here is ireland, i cube the meat and place it into a plastic bag, sprinkle the catmeat generously into the bag. Blow air into bag and shake well resulting in all bait recieving equal colouring. It can be done on the bank or the evening before.

I have caught tench, bream, rudd and roach on wild natural venues as well as the usual suspects on commecials.

I find both the halibut and atomic catmeat works well.
