it has been posted elswhere but thought it should go on here as well, burgfield match lake will be up and running from 1st april apparently, it has been stocked with, bream carp tench and silvers but not got a clue as to quantities or sizes, suppose it will take a few years to get back to what it was but its a start, !!!:original:

madd your post about burfield rekindled some good memories from the past regarding this venue we had some good matches there with the likes of yourself trev gary ginger stormin norman and of course a couple of postmen all trying to outwit the crazy carp with attitude that lived there not forgetting some stonking bream also would love to have another crack at this place so if you get anymore imfo keep us posted
