Hi,

Came across this site completely by accident trying to find an alternative to the bait i usually use when fishing and judging by the reviews and chat on here i hope i've found exactly whati've been looking for.

I've fished for years but only recently started taking it seriouslyish , a few friendly competitions in work etc..........

But the places locally we tend to fish everyones using the same baits and brands so am looking for that something extra to give me the edge.......

What i'd really like is an idiots guide to what GOT baits go best with each other and when's the best and how's best to use them ?????
I've read loads of posts in relation to this but just wondered if there was any simple formula or methos for someone new to stick to ??

We usually fish commercials for the carp and bream etc up here in north wales just for fun but its always nice to come out on top....

Thanks in advance for your help

Pete

As a starter and a reliable fish catching bait I would feed GOT 4mm Sinkers and fish 6mm Natural Expanders. I have not found a water yet that does not respond to those two together. If you want an edge then add products from the Atomic Cloud range to give you a different colour, flavour.

Hope this heps

pretty much as above but buy yourself as tub of the soft white coconut pellets i've had some amazing results with these when others have been struggling brilliant when itstarts to get colder also try putting some white atomic clound in your fed pellets .

mate i have had great success using the black aniseed Atomic Cloud with 4 & 6mm Meat, maybe worth a try or maybe add a little strawberry or pineapple Atomic cloud to the fishery pellets if allowed.

Try the pineapple yellow atomic cloud if you want to dust your meat. Cut the meat the night before put the meat in a plastic bag, add some atomic and give a good shake. Put in fridge overnight and hey presto yellow meat.
I would suggest adding some atomic to the fishery pellets, personally I use sweetcorn (I must have a fixation about the yellow)
Most places do allow you to use any hooker pellets so use some of the GOT hookers, sweetcorn if you do use same atomic.
Tight lines.
