The match was fished on the new Woodside Pond at Magiscroft Fishery, which is stocked with small fish consisting mainly of ide, roach and stockie carp with the odd bonus fish up to 2LB. The weather was hot and sunny and flat calm.
I drew unfancied peg 21 and fished 3 lines all at 13m length, 2 with GOT Baits 6mm soft hookers over 2mm feed at depths 2ft depth on the slope. The other line I fished with caster up in the water fed wth both catapult and pole pot. I had to work for my weight and alternate between swims during the 4 hour match as the going was hard.
Won the match and title with a winning weight of 12Lbs 7oz.
