Hi all, many years ago, when i was a lad,( not as many years as Madd mind, happy b/day Madd), people raved about aniseed flavourings for roach. Thinking of leaving maggots overnight in aniseed atomic for the next day. Anyone tried it & to what effect?
Mooching around Veals in Bristol this week & they had a couple of packs of A/C reduced to 99p, bargain i thought.
cheers graham.

hi Graham,
i've not used it on maggots as I use the red mostly, but I do add some to my casters, by that I mean to the water in my bait tub, quick stir and add casters.
This way my feed is being coated constantly while sitting on my side tray, I usually add about a quarter bag to a 3 pint bait tub of casters and I do catch matey. I do the same with my hemp seed too.
Just remember, there are no rules on how you use it, I even mix different clouds together at times just for something completely different. Corn and punch mixed and dusted on meat has caught me a few tons this year, mind you anglers around me thought I was using worm! (I use the empty worm bags to store my meat in) they see what they want to see I suppose, mind you for the few anglers who did take time to ask what I used, I told them exactly what I did. not enough anglers ask the simple questions
