Flavours & Essences
Much has been written on the subject of flavours and their use in all types of fishing, being used as glugs, Dips, in Pastes and Ground baits and all for us the angler to catch more.
The big question “do flavours help you the angler to catch more fish”? And that can be debated till the end of time and if john has won the last four matches then he must be right well with respect that’s wrong.
My personal opinion is they are a very important part of fishing today, especially with more anglers on commercials the fish have seen it all so something a little different must help.
We at Got Baits have been working on a couple of flavours/Glugs and to put it mildly have been astonished at some of the catches using the proto types.
The first thing for those who don’t know Got Baits “we know we are not the biggest bait company out there” and the cynics may say well that’s old hat, so we have decided to give a little insight to how we get to the finished article in a bottle to you the angler from basic ideas to conception and then the finished article, and hope you can appreciate that we, Gaz and myself, care about what we sell to you our customer.
Firstly we have an idea and take it to our partners the flavourists and that’s where it gets interesting, simply we the anglers go to our partners the professionals, with our ideas and ask them to sort out in essence a 1000 piece jigsaw.
