hi guys went fishing on thursday calm conditions really bagged up went today sunday on a match same fishing methods wind blowing bad just wondering when paste fishing does wind conditions affect paste fishing thanks

It's a case of realising that if the surface water is towing then the bottm layer of water will probably be moving in the opposite direction in a similar force. You should still be able to fish paste as long as you get your set up and shotting right so that your rig isn't moving around all over the place and dislodging your hook from the bait.
It's hard to cover eact situations - sometimes changing your shotting is sufficient, sometimes you'll need to lay more line on the bottom. This is where better anglers will provale as they will make it work whee others give in.

thanks for that hatchye i did nt give in but it was hard going to fish over 4 sections due to wind

much better to not fish paste if its really windy, just makes for a day of problems, i would fish pellet, corn , meat instead then if there is tow affecting your swim you know your bait is still on until you get a bit but with paste yur always wondering if you have lost the paste, make life easy !!!!

thanks for that madd the paste was the last thing to try as i went a couple of hours biteless
