Flat feeder work

Hi there.
After watching a Masters of Coarse with Mr Findlay pulling fish after fish out of the Glebe, I thought that this was mebbe the style of fishing I should turn to as my fast fading body does not seem able to even sit on a box for a day never mind hold a pole as well :emot-sad:
I am looking to see if I can either adapt my Daddy Long Legs chair to hold something to make my life easier, or to see if there IS a chair out there that has all the fitments and that is high enough for me to get in, and more importantly out, of
Anyway this is not what I am asking here
What do you think of the soft hookers attached to the hook with a Quick stop and Atomic pellets on the feeder??
I presume that would work as well or probably better than Findlay's Sonu S-pellets and feed pellets
Or would the Atomic hard pellets in a larger size be more suitable for rigging up??

Hi Micklen. I'm working on using Atomic pellet on method feeders. Think I'm just about there now. I'll update you as soon as can put theory into practise !

It's always worth setting up different hook lengths for different baits, when fishing the method! Set one up with just a hook, one with a band on the hair (or lassoo if your posh) and one with a quickstop.

The quickstop can be used on any of the GOT hooker pellets, and are absolutely awsome! Use one or two 6mm pellets.
The band can be used for hard pellets. 6mm GOT are as good as the hookers IMO. Some days the fish seem to prefer a hard pellet?!
The rig with just the hook can be used for Atomic maggot. Sprinkling AC on your maggots definately seems to make a difference!

Other baits to try are;

Atomic Meat (on the quickstop), My absolute favourite feeder hook bait is AC Meat made with Atomic Corn. PM me if you want to know how I prepare mine.
Atomic corn (on the quickstop), Awesome bait that can be used all year round! I've used upto 4 pieces of corn on the hair when fishing for the proper lads!


As for what to wrap around your method feeder.... you can't beat good old 4mm GOT feed pellet! Dampened and sprinkled with Atomic!
