"Far too many people start too light or change to lighter gear when feeder fishing for bream, in my opinion you don’t need to!! I never go below a 0.11 hooklength.... "
Background:
Started club match fishing with Ripley ADAC which introduced me to bream fishing with some of the countrys top slime heads. I joined TFClub.com 4 years ago which opened up loads of new venues to me and introduced me to commercial carp fishing. After picking the brains of the better anglers on the site, I started to pick up the odd section win and a few frame places. Both myself and Scone were lucky enough to join the GOT family about 3 years ago and neither of us have looked back since. If I had to just pick 1 method to fish, then it would be the feeder, it really is a method that you have to work at to get the very best out of it. I do however love fishing the pole and paste in the margins for lumps!
Best match weights to date:
194lb 4oz from Rolfs 4th. (pellet/shallow)
174lb Drayton 1st. (feeder)
127lb Glebe 3rd. (meat/margins)
